Just as in a walkathon, we are asking each volunteer to raise a minimum of $50 in pledges to cover costs of the day. All pledge donations are tax deductible. Proceeds will benefit Volunteer Alexandria's efforts to provide volunteers to nonprofits and city agencies throughout the year. Volunteers who raise more than that are eligible for great prizes! The deadline to enter your online and off-line donations to be considered for prizes is 5:00PM Thursday, April 30.
